As a Senior Account Executive at MCS, Laura de Zutter provides communication support and assists in the development of public relations activities for clients including Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, CSL Behring, Genentech and Sciele Pharma.
Her work at MCS has included national and local broadcast and print media relations campaigns in gastroenterology, neurology, hematology, rheumatology and dermatology.
Since joining MCS, Laura has been an integral part of many public relations campaigns and initiatives. Laura has supported communication campaigns for the approval and launch of Warner Chilcott's psoriasis treatment, Taclonex, with coverage reaching over 16 million people. She has also achieved significant local media coverage as part of a grassroots campaign aimed at raising awareness of von Willebrand disease for CSL Behring and the National Hemophilia Foundation.
Additionally, Laura has worked on a variety of global initiatives for Schering-Plough's REMICADE® and for CSL Behring's Beriplex®, assisting with the planning and coordination of press conferences, patient roundtables and media relations campaigns throughout Europe.
Prior to joining MCS in November 2005, Laura was a public relations intern at Anvil Knitwear. In this capacity, Laura worked to promote the company's consumer programs through the development of comprehensive public relations strategies. Laura has also served as a special-events planner for a local non-profit organization.
Laura graduated cum laude from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and a minor in professional writing, and received a master's degree in communication and information studies from Rutgers University.
